As we say here in Greece, I wish you all a good week and an even better month!
On saturday we had a crop in Athens,and I attended some of the lessons. The following lay-outs are what we did during Elina's one lesson.
She first taght us how to erase a background (without Photoshop) We only used some water and a paint brush and after some rubbing we removed the top layer of colour off the photo,and then we added another background with acrylic paints. One can add all sorts of things,your imagination can run wild!
Elina emphesised continuously that we should not be afraid to TEAR up our precious paper....And this is what we did in the next layout, we let rip, we inked and curled and this is the result.

Joanna Elina gave us rope to put around the photos..but because I was wearing pearls and velvet in the photo I wanted pearls...maybe thicker pearls would have been better,but I used what i had at home.
