Hi there Scrapbookers.
It has been a hectic week since I last posted!
On Saturday we had a crop here in Athens and we had a record number of 30 ladies attending. I taught the girls how to make a couple of flowers...which we then added to our L.O.s.
Irini in turn encouraged the girls, and help those that needed her guidance to create a L.O. using the sketch from Once Upon A Sketch The journaling this time around focuses on why we scrap?
I chose this rather malancholic photo of myself and my 2 eldest children, that I found at my FIL house this summer. I know neither where nor when it was taken....I also do not know why we look so fed up!
You see I never scrapped back then ,so I do not remember...this is why I am frantically telling my family's story now.
I used things from the kit that was provided at the crop...The little yellow flower was hand-made by Irini...I just love it!! Thanks Irini...oh yes I also bummed the brad off Irini...thanks doll!
The bird and the question mark, as well as the alphas were from my stash.
As You can see I Glimmer Misted the page...and I need tips as to how we can get rid of the warping...I have ironed L.Os in the past.
I hope that you all have a great week.
Love.
Zeffy.

ReplyDeleteHI.. this is so lovely.. the calm brown tones go with the photo, give it a vintage feel.. and yes this is why we scrap.. to try and remember the things that happen in life... beautiful take on the challenge..
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous!.....everything seems to be put together effortlessly..fabulous job!

Και το misting και το stamping και όλο!

xoxoxo
Very pretty!! Thanks for playing along with us at OUAS! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful page, and what a great subject to scrap on - I still haven't worked out the warping thing with mists, if I am only doing a small area I masking tape the page down and let it dry that way...if not they seem to flatten a bit more once they are in my albums.
ReplyDeleteZeffy this is just gorgeous. I love the beautiful pic and the softness of the subtle colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in our challenge,
Jenix
