ReplyDeletetalk about speedy gonzalez...well done to you on finishing your journal!
ReplyDeleteYour journal looks amazing. I shall browse backwards to see some of its production. Well done. Thanks for visiting my blog. Kate x #57
ReplyDeleteZeffy, what a wonderful post. I so enjoyed watching your videos, and hearing your beautiful South African voice. You have done a beautiful job with the album, and I think it's really good that you explained all about the binding difficulties you had, as it helps the rest of us avoid certain pitfalls. I am very sorry to hear about your Dad. I am in the process of making an album celebrating the life of my Dad while he is still with us (he is now in residential care). These albums make such a lovely keepsake and your family will so enjoy yours in the years to come.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely post on my blog, and yes, of course, please take any ideas and use them! They say immitation is the sincerest form of flattery and I love to see my ideas being used by others. I am glad you like my spoke guard idea! I've been working on them some more today and it's going faster than I'd thought, so I should soon get onto the exciting part - decorating them!
Happy WOYWW,

What a wonderful journal and video, Zeffy! Have a wonderful week!! Darnell #30
ReplyDeleteI am really loving your album. I have threatened to do the 'journal your Christmas' for years, but because I am so bad at following instructions, I have always just left it. Seeing you do this amazing album made me rethink it.
ReplyDeleteHaving to go to Soweto was quite the adventure, but as you know, when your child needs something, fear becomes obsolete. Maponya Mall is the biggest Mall in Africa I am told and it was amazing to go there. People looked at my son and I like we were aliens from another planet, but they were all super helpfull and very kind. I will most definately go there again in the near future.
So sorry to hear about the loss of your dad, it is never easy to lose a parent, no matter how old you are.
Happy belated WOYWW!
