Hi there Ladies.
I hope that you are having a good time and that you are all resting a little....I mean all of the girls in the Northern Hemisphere where we are having summer...for those down south.....wrap up and keep warm!
It is 1 am here in Athens and I thought I would share a couple of things that I have made this past week.
Fistly here is another L.O. using a photo of my daughter on her wedding day (still have many more to scrap) I will enter it ,for the Bird is the Word Challenge the word is "Today"
I used mainly Crate paper for this page as well as some Prima flowers. The embellies are a mixture of Bo Bunny and Pink Paislee
My acrylic rose...used Cranberry alcohol ink with Pearl mixative with blending solution.
My faux silk flowers (sorry bottom flower little out of focus!) I should of had more creases in my tissue paper....I used Antique Linen Distress Stain and Vintage Photo Distress Inksd for the edges, the press stud in the center give the flower a funky feel.

Then I have a couple of hand- made flowers to share.....As most of you know I am following lessons at
Miss Arts Papercrafting School I am having such fun!
These are 3 flowers that Lisa Valentine showed us in her lesson Fanciful Flowers, take a look at her blog A Random Purpose Life it is really worth your while!!

My metal rose, OK I had to improvise here as I had neither plumbers foil tape nor a vibrant Crackle Paint!!
This is what I did...I stuck thin kitchen foil.....that's what I had.... heavy foil was also not available in my kitchen (it would have been better!!) Anyway I used my ATG tape to stick the foil to both sides of my cardstock, I cut out the Tattered Florals, embossed them....then painted the flowers with regular acrylic paint allowed it to dry then I added Crackle Medium....my only problem was that the acrylic paint would not peel off the metal once dried as much as Lisas' peeled off...she used Crackle Paint! So as a result a lot of metal is not visible.
I hope you like them...if you have any questions feel free to ask...
Have a good week-end.
Love.
Zeffy.
