ReplyDeleteLove your art guardian drawing and I am so glad you signed up with LifeBook 2014...so did my daughter. YAY! Did you join the FaceBook group? I did and have had a lot of fun interacting there. I think Tam calls it LifeBook Cafe! Have a great week. Vickie aka Okienurse #111
ReplyDeleteOOOOO, your art guardian is fabulous...I just love her. So happy to see another LIfebooker. I learned so much last year (and still have so much more to learn), and often I did copy the teacher because it was all so new to me, but I find little bits and pieces in my work all the time now. Another blog I follow, Christy Tomlinson - who I was introduced to last year thru Lifebook - pointed out thats how people once learned to make art, by copying the masters. So I try not to feel to bad about it...
ReplyDeleteAlaska is a very fun place to live and visit. I live in a Valley with lots of mountains and green space and it was a beautiful clear day today (has been oh, so grey). We, unlike Athens, have been having a bit of heat wave...hope things are starting to even out for you all weather wise.
Look forward to seeing other lifebook projects...thanks for visiting the Fun Room this week.

Hi Zeffy. Am loving seeing these beautiful art guardians popping up all over the place. Yours is gorgeous! Regarding your Love page - I've done the same thing in a class I'm doing at the mo (Soul Food) and am not happy with it - it's not 'me'. Just thinking what I can do to rescue it! I think it's good we feel that way though - that we want to learn but put our own stamp on things.
ReplyDeleteOh, and my poor brayer that I forgot to clean, some heavy duty anti-bacterial handwash, a few wet wipes and some elbow grease has kind of rescued it ;)
